Pricing FAQ

Why don't you just show one price?

Because no two businesses have the same scope. A 10-transaction-per-month solo contractor and a 2,000-transaction-per-month four-crew GC are different engagements. The tiers tell you which floor applies; the strategy call tells you the exact number.

What's the difference between Essentials and Pro?

Essentials works when your crew is disciplined with Project Tools — hours logged, materials captured, W-9s on file. Pro handles the complexity that comes with scale — higher volume, more vendors, multi-service-line reporting, mixed payment types, and a monthly rather than quarterly strategic rhythm. Both tiers expect Project Tools adoption; Pro just includes more depth.

Do you require annual contracts?

No. Every engagement is month-to-month with 30 days' notice. We earn the relationship every month.

Are setup fees waivable?

They're bundled at no extra cost inside Contractor Essentials and Pro. Basic Business clients pay setup separately. Complex migrations (multi-entity, multi-year backlog) are quoted individually.

Do you file my taxes?

No. We build a CPA-ready year-end package and coordinate directly with your tax accountant at no extra cost. If you don't have one, we can refer you.

What if I'm already using QuickBooks Online?

Perfect. We plug into your existing file after a quick audit. Pro tier clients often need a chart-of-accounts rebuild to support job-level reporting.

Can I upgrade tiers as we grow?

Yes. Most Pro clients started in Essentials. Most Fractional CFO engagements start as an add-on to Pro.

What happens on the strategy call?

30 minutes. We learn your business, your current state, and your goals. You'll leave with a clear recommendation — which tier, what scope, what setup is needed, and a real price. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.

Why is Project Tools included free?

Because it's the reason we can deliver this level of service at these prices. The tools replace the "bookkeeping assistant" role entirely — crews self-report clean data, and we focus on analysis and strategy. You get a better outcome. We get a scalable business. Everyone wins.
